EtomicSteel™
orders will ship within two-four business days for orders
available and in stock. For orders that are not in
stock, customer will be made aware of backorder time frame
prior to processing credit cards.
EtomicSteel™
comes with a 60 year limited warranty on framing and a 40 year
limited warranty on workmanship of the framing. See the
warranty information page for exact limited warranty details.
Engineering and Certification for EtomicSteel™
structures is based on normal conditions. EtomicSteel™
may not be able to be eligible for building permit in some
select areas of the USA due to extreme and abnormal weather
conditions. Please check your local building permit
office for details prior to making a purchase or your dealer
or our corporate office directly and speak with a specialist.
EtomicSteel™
products are shipped to customers and dealers with insurance
included in the shipping quote. Insurance is only valid
when a customer or dealer marks the shipment as damaged on the
BOL (bill of laden) at the time of delivery. Failure for
the customer or dealer to mark a damaged shipment as damaged
at the time of delivery will result in the inability to file a
claim with the freight company. EtomicSteel™ and
Etomic Steel Structures, Inc. are not responsible for freight
damages if the customer or dealer does not mark the BOL (bill
of laden) as damaged upon receiving the shipment from the
freight carrier.
Returns,
Cancellations and Refund Policy
EtomicSteel™
is owned and operated by Etomic Steel Structures, Inc.,
Carports.com's parent company. EtomicSteel™ orders
that are put in to the corporate office at Etomic Steel
Structures, Inc. are all special orders but may be canceled
within 24 hours of the order date. If customers have
ordered through a dealer and/or installer of Etomic Steel
Structures, Inc. then it is solely up to the policies of the
place of purchase in regards to Returns, Cancellations and
Refunds. Etomic Steel Structures, Inc. customers
will be responsible for a eight percent cancellation fee upon
canceling if the billing credit card has already been charged,
regardless if within the 24 hour period of the order date
Because each order for EtomicSteel™ is special order, there
are are no refunds if the order is canceled by the customer
past 24 hours of the order date.
Etomic Steel Structures, Inc.
and EtomicSteel.com are not responsible for the installation
of EtomicSteel™ products by
direct customers, authorized dealers and/or installers of
Etomic Steel Structures. Customers who place an
order directly for EtomicSteel™
products with Etomic Steel Structures, Inc. make
payment in full at the time of ordering, which is not
refundable after the initial 24 hour period for any reason.
Etomic Steel Structures, Inc. and EtomicSteel.com encourages
all direct customers, authorized dealers/installers to
research products, local area building codes, permitting and
other possibilities before placing their order to prevent
unforeseen issues. Etomic Steel Structures, Inc. and
EtomicSteel.com will work in good faith to assist in resolving
issues if any develop as long as both parties are giving
reasonable and conscious effort to resolve the issue.
Great pride is taken in selling EtomicSteel™
but Etomic Steel Structures, Inc. only holds the
responsibilities of a "manufacturer" of the brand EtomicSteel™
unless you have purchased directly from the corporate office
at Etomic Steel Structures, Inc..
Shipping
and Claims Policy & Terms and Conditions
If your order at EtomicSteel.com
directly that requires shipping through a third party shipping
company, Etomic Steel Structures, Inc. will assist you through
the process. The following terms and conditions apply to
all orders that are shipped via EtomicSteel.com's shipping
department.
Upon placing your order, you
will be responsible for paying for an estimated freight quote
based on the current rates and fuel surcharges. You will
receive a notification via email when your order has been
shipped from the warehouse facility. It is not up to
Etomic Structures, Inc. on how long it takes for your order to
be delivered to you once shipped. Etomic Steel
Structures, Inc. nor EtomicSteel™ is not responsible for
time it takes to get your shipment from the date it ships from
the warehouse to your address.
At the time you receive your
shipment, Etomic Steel Structures, Inc. recommends for all
customers to inspect all pieces of the shipment inside and out
to check for possible damages and missing parts. If
damages are suspected, write on the bill of laden (shipping
document) that the trucking company provides you to sign to
accept delivery that the shipment has possible damages or
missing parts. In order to have a successful insurance
claim so that we can replace your parts without any delays,
this is required. There are no exceptions. There
is no way for us to guarantee replacement of damaged or
missing parts if the shipping documents are not marked as
damaged/missing at the time of delivery while the trucking
company is still present. At the time you mark
damaged/missing parts on the bill of laden, you need to
contact our customer service department at 866-549-3626 to notify Etomic Steel Structures, Inc. of the
claim. You will be asked to make a full inventory of the
parts you received and fax them to (404)-601-0233. We
will review your documents, contact the appropriate parties
and notify you of the next steps.
If properly documented at the
time the shipment is received, replacement(s) are made top
priority over all other orders. Customer service for
direct customers of EtomicSteel.com is our top priority at all
